Wireframe design, mobile app prototype
Maynooth is a prototype of an eCommerce web wireframe that were designed with Adobe XD. These designs are the outcome of an advanced session that explored in-depth new capabilities of XD, across carousels, grids, micro-interaction, and interactive mockups for desktop and mobile.
The designs were in line with brand’s persona:
Johanna, 56, is successful Manager with £3,500 monthly income. Johanna has recently invested in a new property that she wants to re-decorate with a modern and luxurious accent. She’s looking for new products, minimal, modern, and of a certain warmth but very tired of those confusing websites that are hard to navigate with small filter settings and tons of thumbnails.
It all starts with in-depth research and collecting inspirations from famous brands that have solid fundaments in commercing with modern and luxurious furnishings. I find that a mood board it’s essential to help narrow down the style and color scheme of Maynooth.
The wireframe design is minimal, the pistachio green, eggshell orange, and white color scheme are light to the eye, the gold accents to CTA’s and Menus add a luxurious touch. The navigation is user-friendly with clear menus and large product thumbnails, design to accommodate a mature audience and to highlight the products. A series of micro-interactions and hover-over effects give an extra spark to the whole browsing experience.
